Carb Issue

What if any issue would be using an 950 automotive holley in a marine application besides it dosent have the u-tubes which can be with a little work installed?

I have been using a automotive 850 DP holley that I installed J tubes in for at least 10 years now with no problems. Works great.

Aside from the J tubes, Holley marine carbs have covers on the fuel pump that route any leakage to the intake. You can see the black hose in this pic, going from under the fuel bowl to near the choke.

An auto carb will leak onto the manifold, and into the bilge. Not good.
