Nose cone on slow boat??
I returned my boat to stock to sell and it's not running near as fast as it used to before I started messing with it.
The drive I put on has a nose cone but other than that is standard BravoI and standard x-dim. How much would a nose cone hurt a 50mph boat?? thanks |

I would think it would slow in your case due to the motor not having the power to move the extra water loading in to the prop.

Thanks :( Kind of what I thought.
If anyone knows anyone who would be interested in trading for a recently rebuilt (2 seasons) bravo 1 with a nose cone for a stock bravo1, let me know. Preferably within driving distance of the Detroit area. |
I have a bravo lower I would look at trading on one with a nos e cone. Not too far away from either. I live in NW Indiana. pm me if your interested.

Nose cones only help past 80 mph, at slower speeds my experience is more drag due to more surface area, 3 mph loss is my guess.

I have two spare fresh Bravo XR DWP lowers available if you need one.
