Hey Guys my canvis guy told me sombrella is waterproof is that not true or only when they get old.

Sunbrella is water "resistant". Products like 303 increase the level of water resistance.
They also make materials like sunbrella plus, seamark, and surlast that have coatings to make them waterproof.
