Bigggus and everyone else is the NGK BR6FS the equlivant of the AC MR43TS?
I might try the NGK next time! I just ordered the MR43TS 5 Min. ago. Is the 43 a hotter plug than the 44? Will it help the black flim on the transom? Thanks Guy's!! |
You might know, there always has to be one oddball in the crowd so I'll fess up to it! I have Champion RV15YC4 in my 7.4 300 hp stock engine. Ya, I know, I'm a weenie compared to the hp you guys have!:p

Recommended in my boat (454-330 HP) was champion RV8C
why champion as a recommendation on the turtle??? Was champion the best of the best a few years ago? jason |
I just called O'Reilly's Auto Parts and at first they said that they (MR43TS) were a Special Order Item and that they would call me back to let me know when they could have them by......Then they said they can't get them!???! What's up with that?
Where can I get 16 of them? Do I have to go to a Marina for them? Should I just try and get the R43TS instead? Will O'Reilly's be able to get them? |
AC Delco help line just said that there is no such plug MR43TS is what I need the MR43T?? Now I confused!
|
OK I think I got it now!! I just ordered them through O'Reilly's (MR43T) and they should have them by 5pm this evening!!!
|
Also try the CR plugs from AC NAPA should keep them in stock....They are commercial.....Beefier just like the MRs.

I run AC Rapid Fire #1's in my 92 350 Magnum. Cleaner at idle and since they're projected tip plugs, they run cooler at power. We've run them in a number of modified motors too.
Pick any brand though as long as they are projected tips. My 2 cents. Scott |
A/C Rapid Fire # 1,,,,, they are worth the extra money.... and I'm sorry,,, you couldn't GIVE me a set of Champions

Funhome, yes, the BR6FS crosses to a MR43T.:)
