Where to mount Fuel Pump Safety Switch

Just installed a Procharger M3SC on a 502. I use a HP 500 oil thermostat/filter housing mounting and my question is this. On the engine side of the thermostat/filter mount there is a 1/8" NPT port. I installed a small pressure gauge in this port started the engine a got immediate pressure reading. Won't this be a good place to mount both the oil presure sending unit and the fuel pump safety switch? If I understand right the 1/4"NPT port above the remote housing adapter on the block is on the return side going back to the pan and the 1/8" NPT port on the port side top back of the block is pressure going to the engine itself. Am I on track here?
Thanks ahead for the expertise guy's.

Yes and no.

The 1/8 is indeed good for the pressure switch.

The 1/4 is actually from the oil pan, but before the cooler and filter.
I have 2 oil temp senders on my motor.
1) in the block oil pan rail, return path from the stat unit so I can measure temps of oil going into the motor and also see how much temp the cooler is talking out of the oil.
2) in the 1/4" fitting on the stat unit to measure the oil coming out of the oil pan.
