bravo outdrive oil change
 

On the newer style bravo drive where is the lower drain plug, found the upper but no lower, how do you drain / fill them ?

You have to take the prop off and it is under neath the prop spline on the inside.

Also you should temporarily take the zinc off behind the prop too.....makes it easier to get the drain screw back in when your done filling (and trying to rush to thread the screw in before your oil pours out :D)

If you trim it up before you disconnect the filler hose and before putting the screw in it doesn't come out quite so fast.

but if you trim up you will not get all the oil out. Better you trim down than first open the lower srew and because there build up a vacum it will not come out fast. Than you open the upper srew and it will flow out easily.
