I have a early 90's hp 465 that i have put put a crane 731 cam , full roller, merlin grumpy jenkins steal heads , dart intake , holley 800 dbl pumper. The exhaust glm with hardin risers. ( 4 inch )
The builder thinks maybe 575 hp ( i am not sure about that )
well the question is new exhaust or bigger carb and what do you think the hp is and what do i do next.. Looking for winter project to do with the motor

I'd say your done unless you add 4.25 stroke rotating assembly.

Your say stroke it, what do you think i would get if i do it, wouldnt that make it a 540 thanks

i would say get rid of the glm's, they have to be choking that motor..

The engine will make about 525HP. The carb is plenty for it.

Assuming your engine is a 4.00 stroke, 4.477 bore now -(502 ci.) then adding .250 stroke would make it a 533 unless it is bored .030 in a standard rebuild. I agree on the GLM manifolds, they are better than stock but not much.
