For you engine builders

I have stock 2003 525 engines with 270 hours.Going to replace the valve springs with isky springs 8005 plus endurance.I no there are a good springs. But the intalled height is a 1.875 and i have 1.850.I was told this would work fine???

Scarab98
The 8005 Plus sets up at 140# @ 1.875". That will be 151# seat @ 1.850" and .690" from stack/bind.

Scarab98,
The 8005 plus spring is a solid choice for low to moderate lift hydraulic roller cams. The fact that it sets up somewhat shorter, at 1.850 inches, places it marginally closer to stack at full lift. Another benefit of the plus endurance series is the Toolroom outer spring which will provide you with outstanding durability.
