Why is my distirbutor buzzing

Thought i'd try out these Mallory marine ignitons this time arround. I know a couple guys that tried them and they worked fine. This is the first time that I have installed them.

When I turn the key on, it starts buzzing. I re checked the wiring diagram, There are only 3 wires and they are all hooked up correctly.

havn't actually tried starting the engine yet as there are a few things to sort out first.

Anyone installed these ignitions yet and had positive or negative experience.

Guess I should have just gone with good ole MSD????

Could this be a low voltage problem as well? The battery was dead from sitting for a while. Been on trickle charge all day and tonight. I can check again tomorrow and see if the problem goes away...??

if its a unilite you need to run a resister, anything over 8 volts and the electric eye will burn out...the buzzing is probably from having the battery charger on..
