Dyno Recommendations

Hi All,

Does anyone have any good marine dyno shops they recommend in the Dallas area? I've heard of a couple of good auto shops, but would prefer someone who specializes in marine applications.

Thanks!

Thanks! Do you know if Leon has his own dyno or sub it out?

An alternative is KPE in Wichita Falls (just west of DFW). I have seen his marine and trophy truck motors on the dyno and they are very impressive.

I've used Wayne Calvert in Denton. They're old school with old school pricing. Not the best out there, but if you want to know how your engine works it's an economical place. - waynecalvertengines

I'd go with Leon, two motors will cost you around $1,000. They dyno'd my motors. I checked with Reher Morrison - they had to change a few things to get set up for marine engines.

Actually used Wayne for some machine work in the past, thanks for reminding me!
