Two Stage pump plumbling ?'s

I've got a 2 stage Sterling (KE) seapump on its way... What is the best way to use the second stage.

1. Should I run both outputs together and increase the total volume?
2. Use the First stage for the oil and power steering coolers. Then Stage 2 to the engine and dump everything through the Eickert Headers.

3. Or should I run 1 stage to the Eickert Headers and plumb stage 2 like a stock engine?

I know a 2 stage pump is overkill but it sure isn't going to hurt anything. Give me your opinions on this......

Only 1 proven way! Split them through coolers then both into engine, out of the engine through the exhaust. Dont dump excess overboard, adjust the pick-up to the pressure you want.

So are you saying one into the oil cooler, one into the power steering cooler and then both into the crossover?

What was your water pressure with the original pump?

I hate to say this but I have no idea!

We run one WP stage directly to the bottom of each bellhousing cooler. Exit the coolers out of solid SS pipes straight back to the crossover. The water is then dumped from the front of the intake manifold to the exhaust manifolds . We also use a 3 point bleed system off the intake then out thru the transom to control the water pressure. This also assures there are no intake air pockets/hot spots.

Yes I was saying split thru the coolers into the front of the engine then in the exhaust i do bleed the back of the intake but if you bleed it to the front of the intake and use that water to help with pressure you can lighten up on the water intake for less drag Put all the water you can through the engine why waste it overboard.

Driveguy is right on. First, get the transom water PU as short as possible. Our pick-up is thru the bottom...flush with no scoop on the leading edge...we still more WP than we needed. I also wanted the -4 air bleeds. With the 2-stage pump, you have a lot of water flow and pressure to play with.

do it that way Diamond marnie , bill can get you the best price on a hardin cross over thats is split in two mine has one 1'' inlet on each side thats what I have cause I went with a 3 stage one to oil cooler one to ps and tranny to cross over 3rd goes to intercooler. art

Right now I'm running the water pickup that is in my Bravo. I'd like to have an IMCO shorty on next summer. Should I then do the stern style pickup? Also the air bleed system your talking about. What exactly is this?
