Couplers - how to distinguish Sierra from Merc ?

Are there markings on the couplers that distinguish a Merc product from a Sierra (part numbers, etc). I didnt see any markings on the couplers that I took off, but they were kinda greased up and I could have missed it. I'll be ordering new ones and want to make sure i did not get a Sierra part before I install.

I believe a Sierra part number starts with 18-....?

18-2321 I think is the coupler...?

Thanks. I'm aware of the part number difference, but are the part numbers on the coupler somewhere to verify.

Mark,

Not sure if the coupler itself is marked, but unless you are getting a killer deal, I would just order them from a reputable source like BAM, or Doller.

I hear ya Rick. Not sure who i'll order from, but it will be someone reputable.........but due to what it takes to remove/install one, I'd like to make sure of what I'm installing.
