Need help on Procharger carb set up

My buddy has a M1 procharger carb blow through set-up. He needs some help on jetting.
He is running a 502 with 5 lbs.
Sorry I don't know too much but here is what I think he has:
750 Holley
P/V in front?????
No P/V in back????
Don't know if it is boost ref.
Sorry for all of the loop holes  He needs some jetting advise. He thinks he has got low 70's in the front and high 70's in the rear. He has not ran the boat to speed yet with the Procharger set-up.
I thought I would post something tonight for him to look at. He is going to see what jets he has in the carb tom.

need expert on this business

There is only one person I know who will help you on procharger setups...and that's Dean Nickerson. You have to get it right the first time or else you will always have trouble dialing it in. Dean has the experience 'cause that's all he does. He dials in carbs depending on your specs. Everybody's motor is different and he can get it right from the start. You can reach him at 215-781-1370.
This is the Procharger expert when it comes to boats. Good Luck.

My 502 has a Nckerson carb in the box primaries are 78, PV is4.5 and secondaries are drilled to .144 with power valve plugged. It ran ok. I still think there was more power there though. Kinda flat between 35-4k. Dean did the carb completely. I think procharger recommends uping 10 jet sizes in the rear. and Im not sure about PV or primaries. Greg

Not sure where I can help....

I added this same setup up to my big block this season. I found
out the following:

HP500 Setup (reference point used)
Primaries: 81 w/ 6.5 powervalve
Secondaries: 96 w/ no powervalve

This setup was done on a stock Mercruiser HP500.
No changes except the M-1 Blower.

My Setup (before and after)
Stock 454 w/ Rec. Port Heads and an all roller valves train,
full MSD ignition and thru transom exhaust.
Primaries: 78's to 81's 6.5 powervalve
Secondaires: 88's to 92's No powervalve

I was recommended on these settings from my local engine
builder, but I cannot give any advice. The engine is still being
built without any testing done yet. I am looking to get the boat
out in another two weeks to see if this will work.

I am concerned about the bottom end because, this season,
my money went toward the top end of the motor. The bottom
is still a cast hunk of metal. Too weak for the HP being forced
in from the top end.

I hope this helps a little....

Mike:

Talk to Garry Grimes. He has a bunch of them out there working well. There are other changes needed besides the carburetor to make a pro-charger carburetor work properly.
