Kaama/ Twin Disk Oil Consumption???

I have put about 10-15 hrs on my Twin Disk Tranys with out checking oil level. Last week end I ran the boat real hard and noticed than one trany was starting to slip. I checked the oil and both were critically low. There was a little oil in the bilge but not enough to constitute the levels in the tranys. I filled both and ran the engines for a while and found no visible leaks. I also checked the exhaust to see if there was any oil deposits from an internal cooler leak and found nothing. Any ideas??? Is it possible that it pushes the oil out the vent??? Twin Disk says that those tranys are not designed to run over 4000 RPM even though it was factory installed by Formula behind a 5500 RPM engine. A theories would be appreciated.

I had Twin Discs on my Kaama's and they did use oil. I don't know where it went. I checked the oil everytime out and usually had to add oil every 4-5 hours of use. I think the oil must have come out the vent.
