single 454 to twin 454
 
well craft nova ii. i have just about finished refurbishing this boat and i would like to take out the single 454 and slot another one next to it. has anyonegot a nova ii running 454's and where can i find all the technical stuff to get my measurements right.

Adding a second BBC and drive will throw the entire balance of off. Not to mention you would need all new stringers.
You would be much better off to increse the hp of the single engine and would be $$$ ahead.

u will actually gain more power to weight then with a second engine for a lot less $$$

x2, I have a single in a 24' boat and I have smoked a bunch of twin engine boats.

Ha a friend of mine had that exact boat w/twin B/B's not a good performing boat..only ran 60....want a twin engine boat..sell this one and move up..

is this a 23ft or 26ft . 26ft came with twin small blocks.

the II's were 26, and they did have a twin B/B engine opt as well
