not that a rebuild would hurt anything, but thats really not that many hours for that blower. If you are not loosing boost psi, or getting fuel in the blower oil reservoirs, they are probably fine.

You can call

The blower shop

Dyers blowers

superchargers usa

They all rebuild the 256 weiand.

thx. 30 days dont matter to me it was 2 below zero this morning:eek: just trying to stay ahead of the game before they are 60 days behind.

You are definitely doing the right thing. Mine bearings went with 200 hrs on it and fresh oil. I think the 04s were the B&M sealed bearing version which is not the best design.
I have an earlier Weiand version (oil bath) straight from Merc I would sell if anyone is interested. 20 hrs on it and its true Mercury Blue.

Dustin from Whipple recommends normally every 300 to 500hrs runniing for the 3.3. He says the only thing that really needs to be looked at is the rear bearings. Everything else goes alot longer.

Darren Mayer for sure.

I sent a pair with 180hrs that visually seemed perfect. One had rotors which were slightly out of time, first sign of bearing issue, but caught before any damage. They will modify rear bearing seals to allow better lube of those rear bearings over time. Also they drill and install a drain plug for changing oil in front case.
Have the rotors teflon stripped also. Cheap upgrade to gain about a pound of boost at same rotor rpm.
