internal flappers

The stock internal flappers have burnt out of my 4" thru hull exhaust, Does anyone know where to get replacements and hopefully ones that I dont have to remove my tips to install

depends what tips you have and where they are located, i had imco tips w internal flaps and they were gone in no time, called imco and they sent me a new set if flappers but had to remove tips to do so, and they burnt off also, if you want them to last get the metal style the rubber ones are only a matter of time before their gone

Some flappers can be repaired easily like the ones in this pic. They bolt on from the outside. You can probably use them, just have to drill a small hole in your tip.

If you have straight cut tips, I would consider adding external flappers and calling it done. They might not look as good but they are cheap and trouble free.

The stock ones dont seem to last very long. Makes me wonder how many guys with thru-prop exhaust are running around with burnt out flappers and dont even know it

Buy the kind of flappers you can put on the outside of the exhaust tips and be done with it once and for all..... They make 3,4,5 inch sizes....... easy and cheap!!!

Dont think I can use external style cause I have angle cut tips. Lookin into the mercury racing style that Dave M gave the link to. May have finally solved my problem.

Someone, I think it may be imco but I could be wrong, makes a metal internal flapper. You do have to remove the tips to install but they will never burn!!! I had them in a Baja 24 outlaw....alot of people said they are noisy but I never really heard them!!!
