best place to buy longblocks?

This spring I am replacing the engines in the Baja. I have looked at several online places to buy a pair of longblocks, but the prices very quite a bit. Anyone have a good place to get a good pair for a good price. Also anyone ever deal with US ENGINES INC? Thanks for any help.

I've dealt quite a bit with Marine Engines (1-800-runs new) in the past. They usually have good pricing. They offer both new and reman. but I would go new. They aren't much more and are worth it.

I looked into engines at US Engines INC. I asked them some specific questions as to what componets they used to rebuild their engines and if they could supply any dyno results for torque, HP and WOT rpms. Their response was they use Merc heads and they do not dyno their engines. That was it.

That response was a big red flag for me. I emailed them back and asked them how would I know what to prop for If they can't tell me hp ratings or what the WOT rpms are? They never responded back. I just didn't feel comfortable after that.

runs like new, they are gm new marine motors, cheapest long block in us and cheap shipping, its the same motor cp sells and all other engine companies that sell new gm motors.

i have one, bought last year. 502mag

Marine Engines 1-800-runs new Make sure you buy the new GM base long block only. Thats the only engine i trust to buy from them. best deal on the net

Thanks for all the replies so far guys, I am hoping to get the boat running again this year. The boat currently has gen six 330s in it, but I would like to switch to mags or 502s.
