Crane Golg Roller rockers...2 sets...really different

I bought a set of BBC crane gold roller rocker from a guy here. Got them just fine. Just bought another set on ebay and when I compare them they are totally different.

Both say crane, both say 1.7 but are a different gold color, one set is twice as heavy and twice as wide.

Anyone know why, what I have here, or more important if this matters????

Maybe just newer and older models or something?

Sounds like you have one old school set and one newer set. It won't really mean much in performance gain/loss, as long as they all roll smoothly, and they're all the same ratio.

The wider one is rated for a heaver spring 900 lbs to the narrow like 600 or somthing

I am not new to the game but I didn't know different rockers were for different valve springs....

Can anyone help me post pick to see if anyone can identify these 100% for sure?

They did make some changes on part # 13750-16
from old to newer ones, but it's mostly up around the
push rod area where you notice the difference.

Sounds like you have a standard set and a Wide Body Set. They are different part numbers if I remember right, I looked at them but wound up using the Comp stainless.

Jegs has a marine tech who should be able to tell you exactly what they are. 1-800-345-4545

If they are the Crane Golds a lot of guys are using those. They are what come in the Merc Racing engines. I used the Comp Stainless because I heard they were better and they were about the same price.
Bob what brand of rocker did you break? It seems like I saw a pic somwhere.
