Will Merc 10-qt oil pan work with offshore mounts?

Does anyone know if the stock Merc 10-qt pan will clear the offshore style motor mounts cradle that wraps under the engine? My old 454 had the smaller pan. Don't want to spend the $$ on a Merc pan if it's not going to clear.

If the pan came off of a stock blue or black Merc engine then it is only 8 quarts. However, yes it will clear an offshore type mount.

Do you need to run a ministarter with the kickouts on the pan?

Usually and a remote oil filter.

In that case, I would prefer to stick with the Merc pan.

Are you referring to the pan that has the sump that extends approximately 3/4 the length of the pan? I thought these were 10 quart.

I am talking about the one that looks like this:

I got rid of a T style and went to this. Very happy with it.

Can stay with the full size starter and I run the long 2 qt. filters right off the block.
