502 MPI Cams
 

Last year i had my 2 502 gen6 mpi re built from scatch including the following:
Re bored 30 thou and balanced
Wiseco domed pistons with comp
eagle uprated con rods
Edlbrock Ali heads from summit racing: EDL-61559
Comp Cam CCA-01-445-8 From summit racing
EMI thunder Exhausts
The engines i ran for one season last year, i am fairly happy with the power but still think they are lacking performance, so i am going to replace the cams plus would like to send the ecus back to get them remapped.
I have been looking on here at the crane cam 168741 and 168731, and hope for a bit of advice as to which way to go and who to go for for the remap, preicison marine has been recommended to me by a couple of friends.
also the engines have fuel regulators fitted to them and would like to know what pressure to set them up at.

After you get the cams in and the motors back together, call Mark at Precision Marine to re-tune your ECU's

A++1 And have him turn up your rev limiter on the ecu..

Thanks for the post so far, i havw heard on here about Marine Kinetics, but due to limited time available, i may need to buy them off the shelf, so just wonder which one to go for.

Also where would you you put the rev limiter roughly, i know possibly depends on the cams chosen too

these guys are the only ones you should call. Bob and Mark both have a very good turn around time. Give them a call. They did a great job on my cam for the 540 MAG MPI I built.

Call Bob and he can set you up a cam and have it to you in a week. It doesn't take that much longer to get one of his custom cams.
