hydraulic steering helm-char lynn #?
 

i need to make sure i am looking at the correct helm for my setup. i have a latham ram, 7/8 with 8" stroke. i think i need a char lynn 211-1007-002. ideally i would like to be around 2.5-3 lock to lock if possible but i am not picky

That is the typical part number.

I have one that I bought and never used, it is in new condition, never been used. Let me know if you are interested.

the part number isnt exactly typical, for exzmple the 211-1007 that i am looking for is a open center, 3/4 port and 4.5 placement while the 1009 has 7.3. if i used the 1009 i would have like 1.5 turns lock to lock. how much are you willing to sell yours for?

211-1007 That is a 75cc helm which is the typical size that Imco sells for their single cylinder steering.

V=(r^2)*3.14*8" we need your cylinder bore size.
But you should be between 2.3-2.9 for a typical steering cylinder. And C deezy's should work for you, which is the same part #.

bore and stroke are in the first post. i think his will work also...

Sorry...by typical I meant what is typically used in a boat for full hydro, at least what I've seen in the past. :D

No a single ram will not work on a twin ram set up.
