Cylinder bore job

What is a ruff idea on the cost of doing a cylinder bore job say .040.. at a machine shop + installation of wrist pins into new pistons
Thanks

Not sure about the bore job but I had pistons hung on the rods for $10 per piston

Pantera,
Realistically you should figure on about $600 to do the block properly. That would include removing the cam bearings and all the plugs, cleaning the block, boring and honing it with torque plates, cleaning it again for assembly and installing new cam bearings and brass freeze plugs. That is what my prices are, they do vary from area to area. Swapping the pistons would be $100 which includes cleaning the rods.

Hope this helps,
