weiand 177 for bbc question

ok guys i have looked everywhere and called summit, jegs, weiand/holley and checked all the stores i can find, i bought a used 177 blower and i need the crank pulley for it but i need the one that replaces the alum pully on the front on my 1990 gen4 bbci read the directions and it says if you have the alum. crank pulley on your motor disguard it and used supplied pullry in kit but there is no part number for that pulley and weiand/holley said they dont sell it seperate and wouldnt give me the part number, the pulley i have goes in the center of the steel pulley but i cant find a steel pulley with the smaill center groove for the sea pump, any help would be appreciated.... oh and its a 10rib belt set up

I don't know who you talked to, but Tom @ wieand is the guy to talk to and they do sell the pulleys separatly...but I will warn you merc was very inconsistant on their pulleys and going to take some time to get it set up right..also I have a brand new 2.66 upper if you need one...Rob

I had a similar problem. My stock aluminum pulleys would not work with the blower crank pulleys. Ending up buying a bunch steel crank pulleys from a marine junk yard then having the centers machined to match. It was quicker than trying to match up the 100's of pulleys that are out there, and only cost me $30 for the machining and $50 for a box of pulleys. I think they were MarkV pulleys but not sure.

Maybe this would do it. It's in the Blower Shop section.
