Exhaust for Whippled 540

Hi all,
Would anybody know if Stainless Marine Gen II exhaust would work well on a 3.3 liter whippled 540 (approx 800HP), or do you think they would really suffocate it?
Many thanks,
Yoryi

Depends on cam & overall flow. However in short the HT3 kit would be better for your cubes, SC displacement & overall flow. :) Jamie / Lakeside

Thanks for the response Jamie.
I have them already, so I'm thinking of them as a short-term measure until I get more funds together to get a more appropriate set. They should be OK on that basis, wouldn't you think?
Thanks,
Yoryi

Usually supercharged engines are a little easier to get away with that set if the cam & flow is not crazy. But again the cam profile & flow is really what should be dictating the exhaust. If you have a healthy cam & a good amount of flow that you need to move the HT3 is the way to go... :) J :)
