Its a poor design plus in a poor installed location and the quality of that fuse is below average. |

last autumn the orange cable from the alternator to the startor burned. Maybe a caused by a shortage. I'll now change wiring to go via an isolator. But now to my questions: -Do you mean the ECM can be demaged or the ECM will not work, if the fuse is broken. I expect there's no voltage anymore on the engine, if this fuse is broken. -would you recommend to leave that fuse away or to replace it by a better quality fuse, maybe installed on a more maintenance friendly location?
