thanks Mario I didn't know the 18's had different names over the years

ZXXX Donzi.....what do you mean by switching to something else? Like a new engine or a different boat?

cant imagine an 18ft boat with a huge engine is going to be able to handle rough water and more than 2-3 people on it

No huge engine, just a small block with huge power. Rough water? It is an 18 foot boat. You won't run 80 in 6 footers or anything like that. You would be surprised what you can run though. Watch Steve here at LOTO or Lake Cumberland and you will be impressed.

Yes 2-3 footers are very doable much more than that no, you'd be suprised how well they handle properly set up, with lots of seat time.
