Mark IV engine or Sea Water pump mounted?

How much peak HP you are making will determine how many GPM you will need. You can rig the CV Products FP without a regulator up to 750 HP (green spring) but it is pretty pricey. You can spend less than 1/2 the price of a CV if you are in the 500 HP range. Hardin Marine should have what you need.

Any recommendations for a more reliable "Sea Water pump mounted" fuel pump to replace the standard HP 500 EFI Merc units. The Mercury design diaphrams have a short service life.

Unfortunately that KE upgrade part just mounts on the original housing and uses the Mercury diaphram that fails. Too bad they don't make a complete replacement unit - KE resells the Mercury unit.

Anyone know of a shop for rebuilding/replacing the (Merc/Carter?) diaphram as I've got two in need now and another two by the end of the season no doubt? Thanks.

If I had a Mark IV this is the pump I would use, it's probably the most reliable pump you can get and will pump 450GPH.
