I have a basically stock 454 Magnum, the only modification done is the additional of Gil exhaust. So I figure I have about 400 h.p. or so. I am turning a 24 Bravo1 prop at 5000 r.p.m. G.P.S. says 66-67 m.p.h. speedo says 74. ( I wish )

Alot of care and the oil have made the difference in my Bravo (also
a vintage 1989). No problems as of yet....

A thought, I had to change my drive shower to a Gaffrig (sp)
flexible line drive shower because of the addition of external
steering. My solid tube one is available if you need it...

Thanks for the offer on the drive shower. I would have taken you up on that but I ordered one a few days ago. Thanks for all of the input guys.
