BBC alternator brackets
 
What are you running out their on your offshore boats?

I went with a Summit 2027 and worked ok for a year on my airboat. The original turnbuckle made out of AL gave up but I replaced with a steel one I made at a machine shop. However, the mounting bracket is cracked now. I would prefer to replace it with a different brand. I have reduced the substantial amount of vibration seen last year by replacing the front motor mounts with a waterwalker version. I know the offshore racers are experiencing the same problems I am having.

Is the bolt pattern on the SBC chevy the same as a BBC for mounting the alternator with a short water pump low mount alternator bracket?

I think this will be better for the vibration and appears to be a beefier bracket:
