Carburetor recommendation

I'm looking for some new carbs to run this year on my boat. The boat is a 26' sutphen with twin 350s and TRS.

I was looking at some 600 CFM Edelbrocks. I'm looking for a good combo of reliability and some mild preformance with minimal tuning required out of the box.

What do you guys think of this carb?

Any other recommendation.

they are decent carbs...I have run them...easy to deal with...not the best for performance in my opinion...a 650 holley DP would be a better choice for performance..Rob

Having had both in the past I can't imagine anyone prefering to deal with a Holly if you have any inclination to tune the carb yourself. The Eldebrocks are so easy and versatile. On the boat and in the water, with nothing more than a screwdriver you can change all four jets, metering rods and step-up springs in minutes. Try that with a Holly and you're paddling home.

As for any performance differences out of the box? Maybe, but I'd be skeptical.

Thanks for the response. What performance gain would I see if I went to a Holley?

Unless your engines are highly modified, none. Even then, the difference in mph would within the normal variations of weather, etc. Can you see a diff on the dyno? Likely.

Engines are pretty much stock. Slight cam and flat top pistons in it. stock heads & exhaust

I'm stuck between these two carbs.

Holley 4150 and Edelbrock 1409 both 600 CFM. What would you choose?

For those engines, the 1409

600s are too small for that engine.
