Prop help
I am looking at props for my new (new to me) boat. Its a 1999 Warlock openclass 27' and has a 502 magnum MPI. I don't have a prop to start with Thats why I am asking. I would like one prop for decent low end to hopefully drag some tubes and another for top end. I have looked at serval prop calculators but the more I look the more confussing it gets. I was looking at some 23 pitched props and noticed they have different diameters (13 1/2x 23p, 14 1/2x 23p and 15 1/2x 23p). Which is the corect diameter or does it matter?
The other prop size I have been looking is 25p-28p. What direction should I go??? Thanks for any input!! |

Assuming you have a 1.5 ratio drive, I would start with a 24" Bravo 4 blade. Contact BBlades and use their test program.
Really, that boat is not meant for tubing behind. I doubt it will even stay on plane below 25mph. |
