Carpet adhesive
What would you use to remove some adhesive that was holding down some carpet with out hurting the gelcoat?

Scrape as much as you can off, then use acetone will soften it.
very messy and you have to keep flipping the rag as the adhesive builds up on it. use clean rags as they load up. the adhesive only soften not disolve. and have PLENTY of ventilation, I think I am still buzzed from repalcing my carpet. Jeff H |
3M has an adhesive remover that works pretty good.
Comes in a red can, I bought it at the local marina. Took me two quarts to clean all the gunk off in the cabin of a 24 foot boat. http://3mcollision.com/products/adhe...-quart-us.html |
