hydraulic steering valve question

I just picked up an imco single add-on system and I need to buy a brazilian valve OR a saginaw shuttle valve. My question is how do i determine which one. My existing steering is not original so I don't know if its pre or post 1994. There is a casting # of 15293-c. if that helps. If anyone can help that would be great, I would hate to buy the wrong one first.
thanks.

I believe they are interchangeable with the exception of different size fittings, I know we swapped one for the other on an old Baja, and had to change hoses also, so ya may need hoses if ya get the wrong one, or at least adapters for the fittings(which we couldnt find locally).
