Do some research before you buy a Jasper. I'm not their biggest fan. Check reviews

Me neither. Just two experiences, both reman small blocks, stripped head bolt holes, incorrectly installed permacoils in other head bolt holes, lower end noises, etc, etc. If you can't build a decent small block (easiest motor there is to build/reman) and them not taking any blame + them putting blame on you, than you are nothing in my eyes.

Just my small opinion based on relatively small experience.

If these guys have had bad experiences with jasper then find someone else. Summit racing equipment has quite a few long blocks. For about 2000. I bought my 2 short blocks from Tri star engines . They came with warranty and shipping was very reasonable. Didn't have to wait long either and mine were not stock engines. Think they are in Wisconsin. I don't know what machine shops are near you but by the way this thread has gone, It sounds like you would better off with a crate engine ,short or long block. You could have your heads requalified and bolt then back on . Just Google it you have 350 Chevy they are easy to find. Then look for reviews on the company. Even the machine shops make mistakes. Make sure you get brass or stainless freeze and pipe plugs. You can switch the pipe plugs yourself. If they aren't anti corrosive. Get your engine out first and acess damage first
