vortec head valve covers
 

what is everyone running for valve covers on small block vortec heads with roller rockers, my crome ones that came on my 350h.o. motor wont fit and my exchaust my hit with tall ones.

are they hitting the rockers or the adj nut allen screw ? ran into that had to come up with some short poly locks and worked ok..also have seen a double thick gasket they may help as well

i think the poly locks ,im going to measure today and cut the sides were the bolt is on the cover and see, some one said a pair of stock black merc covers fit.

I have the stock ones on mine with Comp Cams Magnum roller rockers.
