waste holding tank

Does anybody have any tricks to suck out a waste holding tank..Boat is in a garage. Had it pump out this weekend but they didn't get all of it..Not going boating for month or so.Its only like a 8 gal tank.. Thanks

at the end of the season to clean mine out really good I use a wet/dry vacuum with a slender attachment that will fit in the tank inlet. Remove the inlet hose at the holding tank and vacuum out. fill the tank up with a hose a few times and suck it out. I also add a little toilet bowl cleaner to make it smell nice and purdy.

Take it completely out and get a porta potty.

those dont hold up real well on offshore boats. At least in my past they didn't.

Tom, pick up your own screw in attachment to the pump out fitting. Then take the nozzle off the end of your shop vac hose, and slip the hose over the end of the screw in attachment for the pump out. It works great, albeit the shop vac needs a good Lysol cleaning afterwards.

Buy a small 7 gallon shop vac for like $40 and dedicate it to that use.. Just like sydwayz said! screw it on, suck it out, dump it.. done
