30amp to 50amp adapter marine vs rv

I need a 30amp female to 50 male adapter. The marine ones are like 80-100 bucks. The weatherproof rv ones are 20-30 bucks. What's the differences?

I believe the RV plugs are wired differently. The 50amp marine plug is 240 volt and the rv is 120 volt, I think.
BUT PLEASE CHECK!!!!!!!!

This may be of some help:

Then look at the RV-Marine converisions. You may have to make your own adapter!
