Loose Steering

Loose as in the steering unit moves up and down about 1.5 inches. I have the wheel off and am trying to pull the hub so I can get the beauty cover off. Any insight to what kind of hydraulic system i have? It is a 4 hose system, 1984 Chris Craft.

Findwhat color the helm is. It could be a hynautic or a capalono.

Fixed

Pulled hub and beauty cover off- 4 bolts holding the steering mechanism were loose- one fell out- retightended - ALL GOOD.

New steering hub and wheel in place.
