Anybody have a suggestion for gen vI headgaskets, carbed and normally asperated

i have a like new cometic head gasket for a gen 6 block
It's custom .027 ..

I was chasing a reversion issue and thought it might have been a head gasket leak ;) Bob M so i took out my perrfectly good high compression gasket... But it was the cam sooo now its sitting around...

it was ran for maybe 6 hours, i extended the pipes to solve issue there is a thread about solving the issue

I have mostly been using the correct Fel Pro marine gasket for the application. Cometic on higher HP engines or those with blowers or laughing gas. Have not had any problems with either. If you are going to switch to the Cometic or any MLS gasket, you really have to make certain that both the cylinder head and the block deck surface are properly machined for that type of gasket. They are not as forgiving of a marginal surface as the good old composition gaskets.

Thanks Bill; with some research that is what I decided on, Felpro Marine headgaskets
