496 make loud tone when you trun key
 
my 496 makes lout constant tone when i turn the key? it beeps once then go's solided even if you dont start eingine? any help I seen the list but this dont make since engines not running?

does it go away when you start the motor? if so its most likely a low oil psi alarm.

nope! if ya start the engine it still does it! all fluids are full.

A scan will tell you what the beep is for. Sorry I don't know that it would be if all the fluids are up.

well I didn't get a chance to charge it beffore we went out, but it starts, but when it gets to 1500 rpm the motor starts missing really bad and continues to miss even when you let off the throttle. If you shut off the motor and restart it dont miss? got it on the charger gona see if its batteries!

sometimes it runs good for about 3o sec then it go's to running like crap untill you turn it off and back on

both batterys are charged! I swaped ecm's still does it? anybody?

so what sensor is telling the computer a bad value before the motor is even started? fuel pressure mabey?
