mj,
I do seem to remember doing a 502 that had Wiseco pistons in it a bunch of years ago. It also had a very unusual ring combination. I will look in my computer at the shop on Wednesday and see what I can find. Bill Koustenis Advanced Automotive Machine Waldorf Md |
I have a couple 525efi pistons they have 250hrs. and one of the has 2hrs.

mj,
I looked this morning and found the work order I was thinking about. I installed a sleeve and got one Wiseco piston for a 502 Mercruiser back in 2005. As far as I remember the engine was untouched prior to that point. I was wrong about the rings, I used a set of the regular Speed Pro rings for the 502. I dont see that piston number in the Wiseco catalog any more but they have one listed in thier Pro Tru line. Hope this helps, Bill Koustenis Advanced Automotive Machine Waldorf Md |
