3 wire sensor on 7.4 mercruiser.
Putting an engine in a boat and on the port side of the engine towards the front is a 3 wire sensor(with a pigtail) that goes into the oiling system. It has 2 purple wires and a single red w/white stripe. It plugs into a circuit breaker and one of the purple wires was cut prior to the engine removal (came to me w/o an engine in it). I can run power to it and the fuel pump will run. Just trying to find a diagram to find out where this wire goes. Anybody? Thanks
