Mercury 525efi ECU question
 

When you get a mercury ECU scaned is there any reason that the total recorded hours and the RPM break down hours don't match???
In other words if say the total run time hours = 100 and the RPM break down hours equal say 60 is this normal or is something going on?? :readinghelp:

the total run hours can not set back zero.
the RPM run log can be reset .

I spoke with a tech at Mercury and they said if the ECU was reflashed it clears all history prior to reflash.
I get that but I don't get the difference in total run time and the RPM break down hours being so different...
