My 2007 525 EFI at idol jump 50 to 100 RPMs and back down and above 3000 RPMs runs stead but I have lost top end.

When was the last time you changed your fuel / water seperator? That could be your idle problem.

As far as top end loss, where are you boating? High heat and humidity will lower your speeds a few MPH.
