Powered Stern Light...
Anyone else have a powered stern light on there ride? I keep breaking/losing the clear lenses over the led while its being trailered, never on the water always going down the road somehow. Just seeing if anyone else has had this issue?

I just had to replace mine this week. $9.XX for the lens from Innovative Lighting....$11.XX to ship it, lol.
They suggested putting a little bit of silicone adhesive on the threads to keep it from unscrewing. Mine was broken however.

Broke/lost mine too going down the road. I bought 2 replacements, tried super glue on the threads this time although they recommended silicon. Its been 2 months now, no issues so far.

Yes I have mine secured at the bottom with the strapping they included. I have an 1/8" piece of aluminum in between the light bezel and the boat to cover up old holes, I wouldnt think that would cause it since the light recalibrates itself after going up and down.
