Sounds like a decent price, I would be concerned about the cam. Get the cam specs and post them here. If it is not marine specific, it will most likely need to be changed. A 540 with Dart heads should make well over 600HP with the correct cam.

Inconel exhaust valves are a must on a marine high performance engine.

That cam is Weeeeek !!!! The cam in my 489 is bigger than that.

Is that duration at .050? If so, that is waaayyy to much duration for a marine engine, even with dry exhaust.

i could not find cam specs and i googled it a bunch of times. this motor wont sell fast either around here. so maybe ill get it cheaper
