CMI torque specs

I'm in the process of putting CMI tube top headers on my 454 and am wondering what to torque them to?

Torque specs for CMI's.

Scott,
Torque the header bolts any where from 30 to 32 ft pounds and start with the center 2 and work your way out . Once you do the very last header, go back and do them again. A bolt actually stretches to stay tight. So it will loosen just alittle the longer they sit. You may even want to go back and do them again after you run the boat a few times.

I have my elbow-tops torqued to 30 ftlbs. And rechecked after 10 hours. All is fine with no leaks.

Pwrbt33, thanks again for hooking me up with a drive!

Eric
