Looking For A Merc Tech!

Good afternoon fellas, I'm looking for a reputable Merc factory tech w the proper diagnostic equiptment to come and trouble shoot a "limp home" problem on an 04 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer with some 8.1L Horizons. Local yards lack the proper equiptment and knowhow. Location: St.Croix USVI. I'm woking as a liaison for a couple guys who purchased the boat used a few months ago. Any reccomendations in the South Fla area? Thanks for your time and consideration. Feel free to PM

I'd have the owner purchase a Rinda scanner for his own use given the circumstances. Search for "rinda" here on OSO for the details. Well worth the investment.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion, that tool looks key! That being said the owner is more of a pay and play kind of guy and I have a full time job down here at the refinery. He's kinda looking for some "instant gratification" so he/they can enjoy their new-ish boat. Out of curiosity would it read 700sci codes as well? He has a 39 TG as well. I wouldnt be opposed to buying one for my own r&d.

Yes, but there a couple of different connectors for different engines/ECUs.

For the morning crowd, can anyone reccomend a good tech in the south fla area willing to travel (and be compendated)?
