need to water test/sea trial a boat Saturday morn and fox lake is looking like 1.5 hours :eek: summit has a $20 ramp on the river and looks like 35 mins

I dont think summit ramp is that great of a ramp. There is a ramp in Worth that is nice for 8 bucks but is a little further for you.

I'd go for the ramp in worth. It is at 115th and Harlem. From Downers grove, probably a 30 minute tow give or take. You can go to Route 83, and take RT 83 South all the way to Harlem. Hang a left, go over the bridge, then hang a left on 115th st. About a block or so down on the left side. Huge parking area, nice ramp with good docks.

The one in Scummit is bad, Worth is better, I would take my jet Ski to this ramp all the time before Lake Michigan got warm.
Straight down I-55 from Downers about 30 min.
